Texas A&M redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Ryan McCollum was arrested for reckless driving on Saturday night after the Aggies’ home win over Louisiana-Monroe, according to a report by KBTX-TV.

McCollum, 20, was driving on campus after the game when he tried to evade a police officer on a bicycle who was trying to stop him.

According to the report, McCollum almost hit another vehicle while driving through an area filled with pedestrians. He tried to evade an officer before eventually pulling over and exiting his vehicle after multiple commands.

McCollum was booked into the Brazos County Detention Center, per KBTX-TV, then released on Sunday on a $7,000 bond.

Last year as a freshman, McCollum played in 13 games and made seven starts. He has played in two of Texas A&M’s three games this season.

McCollum attended Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas, before coming to Texas A&M and redshirting in 2016.
