It looks like the recent protests in the NFL have spread.

Many NFL teams and players united in protest this past weekend as a result of Donald Trump’s criticism of the players and league. Since those protests, many people have weighed in on the topic. Nick Saban shared his thoughts, and Lou Holtz discussed the issue in a recent appearance on FOX News.

The protest has spread into MLB, and one high school football player made an announcement that he will kneel during the anthem at his next game.

Leon O’Neal Jr., a 4-star safety commit for Texas A&M, shared his announcement on Twitter:

O’Neal plays for Cypress Creek High School in Cypress, Texas. 247 Sports ranks O’Neal as the fifth best safety in his class and the eighth best player from the state of Texas for 2018.
