Texas A&M had a crucial Texas Bowl win over Oklahoma State 24-21 in late December.

Prior to that, the Aggies had lost two straight to top four teams Georgia and LSU on the heels of a somewhat disappointing 2019 campaign at 7-5. As we look ahead to 2020, all eyes are on College Station as Jimbo Fisher gears up for his third season as the program’s head coach.

Fans will get their first look at the 2020 team during spring practice, and on Thursday night, the university announced the Maroon and White Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 at Kyle Field.

The team will start spring practice on Monday, March 23.

2020 is an important year for the Aggies and Jimbo Fisher. The team is garnering lots of buzz and ranked in several way-too-early top 25s for next season. With Kellen Mond returning, along with the offense’s leading rusher and receiver, the unit should be quite potent. The Aggies also return eight of the defense’s top 10 tacklers, too. This is a group with plenty of experience and firepower.
