Texas A&M moved to 3-0 on the season with a 44-27 win against Nevada at Kyle Field on Saturday.

How would the pollsters react to that win on Sunday?

Very favorably. While teams like USC and Auburn fell after embarrassing losses, the Aggies were one of the bigger winners of the week.

The Aggies moved up to the No. 14 spot in the latest Associated Press Top 25 after spending last week at the No. 17 spot.  Texas A&M sits directly behind Alabama and Oregon in the poll, each already holding a loss (albeit to a Top 10 team) on this season.

Texas A&M moved up three spots in the Amway Coaches Poll, jumping from No. 18 to the N0. 15 spot. The Aggies were one of 11 teams to pass USC and one of 10 to surpass Auburn following bad losses for those teams.

The Aggies will begin conference play this week, meeting up with Arkansas in Arlington, Texas. The Razorbacks are 1-2 on the season and reeling from back-to-back losses to Toledo and Texas Tech.
