Texas A&M WR Kendrick Rogers has made his announcement about his plans for the 2020 season, and Rogers said he would skip his senior season and move on to the NFL Draft.

Rogers thanked his coaches, teammates and especially his uncle, who helped kick-start his career, in a post across his social media accounts.

Rogers, a 6-foot-4 and 204 pounder from Frankston, Texas, made 30 catches in the 2019 season as he played in every game with seven starts. Those catches went for 351 yards and two touchdowns. His best game may have been at Clemson, where Rogers had six receptions for 60 yards. Though he got a touchdown against each of the Mississippi schools.

Rogers had a year of eligibility remaining because he redshirted in 2016. He’s been a consistent performer since then, as he’s played in 37 games. As a freshman, he caught 11 passes for 99 yards, and as a sophomore, he made 27 catches for 336 yards and five touchdowns.

Rogers is the third Aggie to declare for the 2020 draft after DT Justin Madubuike and WR Quartney Davis have also declared.

The Aggies seem pretty well stocked at his position, though. They return Jhamon Ausbon, alongside seven freshmen receivers, and the incoming recruiting class features 5-star prospect Demond Demas.
