Since joining the SEC, the Texas A&M Aggies are 3-0 against the South Carolina Gamecocks, but that doesn’t mean they’re taking their Week 5 opponents for granted.

RB Trayveon Williams knows that anything can happen in SEC play, so he and the Aggies have been watching some extra film of the Gamecocks’ unusual defense.

According to 247Sports, Williams said the Gamecocks have some “funky fronts” that the Aggies will need to prepare for:

“There’s a lot of things you have to focus in on,” Williams said of the Gamecocks’ defensive scheme. “You have to watch a lot of film. They play some pretty good defense. They send some wild blitzes. We just have to be ready for it.”

Williams added that everything is on the table when coach Will Muschamp’s defense comes to town:

“I’m expecting to see some funky blitzes, some stunts, some crazy formations,” Williams said. “We’re going to be ready, and we’re going to do what we do best — and that’s play ball.”

Saturday night’s game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on the SEC Network.
