Who wants to add some fireworks to their Wednesday?

Houston coach Tom Herman went on Houston radio to confront John Lopez about his reporting of the transfer of former Texas A&M Kyle Allen.

Herman is one of the hottest coaching names in college football and Allen was one of the hottest available transfer quarterbacks available this offseason, so it makes sense that there would be a race to be the reporter to be the first to break the news about the potential of a partnership between the two.

But getting the facts right is the most important job of a journalist, and Herman contends that Lopez got many of those wrong.

Lopez invited Herman onto his radio show to air some of his grievances, and things got out of control pretty quickly.

Take a listen and see what you think:

Was Herman right to call Lopez out for what he deemed to be shoddy reporting?

Or should he have shown some restraint as a head coach, as the story may now be how he blew up on a reporter rather than how he landed a top notch QB for his program?
