Trevor Knight working to shed 'athlete' label
Texas A&M QB Trevor Knight’s athleticism is frequently on display in the Aggies’ offense, but he would rather not be known as an “athlete” according to offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.
Noel Mazzone on Trevor Knight's level of play: "What he's working hard at is to be a QB who's athletic and not an athlete who's a QB."

Mazzone told reporters Tuesday that he sees the graduate transfer improving every week:
"I'm really happy with how he's progressing." – A&M OC Noel Mazzone on senior QB Trevor Knight.

Knight is leading an offense different from the typical Mazzone scheme:
"We're throwing the ball down the field probably more than I ever have in this offense." – A&M OC Noel Mazzone

But don’t expect Mazzone to look to adopt any plays from Knight’s old team:
"Won't have the conversation, won't look at the film. I don't care." – Noel Mazzone when asked if he's watched Knight v Bama in Sugar

As a Sooner, Knight led Oklahoma to 45-31 win over Alabama, Texas A&M’s Week 8 opponent. Knight went 32-of-44 passing for 348 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the 2014 Sugar Bowl.
Everyone around the SEC can expect to hear more about Round 2 of Knight vs. the Tide for the next two weeks.
