Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin addressed the media on Monday afternoon.

Sumlin dropped some big news when it comes to a personnel decision. Wide receiver Speedy Noil will be suspended for the Texas Bowl versus Kansas State. This announcement stems from Noil’s recent arrest for marijuana possession.

This is the second time in which Noil’s been suspended from the program. Hailing from New Orleans, the former Under Armour All-American was expected to come in and be a force from the get-go in College Station.

However, this hasn’t been the case. Noil caught 46 passes and five touchdowns in a promising freshman season. In the last two years, Noil has caught a combined 42 passes and four touchdowns.
