WATCH: Johnny Manziel vows to make a comeback in new hype video
Johnny Manziel hasn’t thrown a pass that counted since the end of the 2015 NFL season as a member of the Cleveland Browns. Although it’s been awhile since he’s been seen on the football field, the former Texas A&M legend is eager to finally hit the field once again.
In a post sent out Friday evening, the Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M teased a return to football and dropped a new hype video showcasing a number of plays that made him an SEC legend in only two seasons on the field.
“Through the good the bad. The ups and the downs I won’t stop until I get back. Whether that’s North or South of the border I promise you the #ComebackSZN is happening,” Manziel captioned his post.
Based on this comments, it appears Manziel is willing to play in the Canadian Football League if called upon.
