It’s almost time for football — as well as other fall college sports — and Texas A&M is preparing its fans to get hyped for the upcoming school year.

The Aggies’ football season begins on Thursday, Aug. 30, when they host Northwestern State. With Jimbo Fisher taking over as coach, it is the start of an exciting period for Texas A&M, so it’s understandable why fans may be even more pumped for the beginning of a new campaign than usual.

On Wednesday, the Aggies released a hype video for the upcoming season — as well as the start of the year for their other sports teams on campus — that surely will have fans eagerly awaiting the first kickoff of the year. It honors the history of the school, while also shifting the focus toward a new season:

Texas A&M has had five or more losses each of the past four seasons and went 7-6 in 2017 in the final year of Kevin Sumlin’s tenure as coach.

Expectations are certainly raised with Fisher at the helm, and we’ll soon find out how much the Aggies can improve from last season.
