What Jimbo Fisher said after Texas A&M's narrow win over Arkansas
The Texas A&M Aggies didn’t look great on Saturday afternoon in Arlington against Arkansas, but they did what they needed to do and earned a 31-27 win.
However, the Aggies clearly have a lot of work to do, and coach Jimbo Fisher spoke about that, among other things, in his postgame press conference.

On gutting out a win:
Jimbo Fisher postgame presser: Very happy to get the win. Happy for our kids. Didn't play as well as we need to but we had a lot of resilience. No bad wins in the SEC, but we have to quick allowing teams to get back in football games. Hats off to Arkansas…played tails off.

On Seth Small’s field goal that made it 31-27, preventing Arkansas from kicking a field goal to tie or win:
Fisher: Seth Small's big kick was huge and a big-time play by a young man that had a tough game last week.

On Ainias Smith’s performance:
Fisher: Ainias Smith is making plays for us. For a young guy, he's doing a really nice job and is also a big part of our return game. Rogers is a little banged up. We thought we had a TD early and it was a good throw but [Rogers] said he lost it in the lights.

Fisher: Up and down … still too inconsistent. We have to be more intelligent.
