The Vols return to Knoxville after the season opener against Bowling Green at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Tennessee checkered Neyland in 2014 against Florida, and although the stadium looked really sharp with orange and white, the Vols dropped the game 10-9. Perhaps the initiative will help provide better results against the Sooners.
It’s a 100 percent fan-led initiative, and it was executed to perfection last year, according to checkerneyland.com. Fans can visit the website to find out what color they are supposed to wear.
