The NFL Combine is one of the biggest job interviews for many players hoping to suit up for a team on Sundays.

Some players are virtual locks to be drafted, while others are hoping to impress a team enough that they will garner a late-round selection. Former Tennessee pass rusher Derek Barnett falls into the former category.

One of the best pass rushers in college football, Barnett is a player who many teams will be evaluating closely. That in-person evaluation may have to wait, however, as Barnett might not be able to participate in combine workouts due to a “virus,” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

If Barnett truly is sick, he will still have the opportunity to perform in front of NFL Scout’s at Tennessee’s Pro Day, which is slated for March 31.
