The flagship show for the SEC Network, “SEC Nation” will be in Knoxville on Saturday morning to preview the Alabama-Tennessee game.

Host Laura Rutledge will interview Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt as part of the show, and she shared with WNSP-FM 105.5 and AL.com how she will frame her line of questioning.

“The No. 1 question is ‘How do you try and beat Nick Saban and what does he have up his sleeve?'” she said. “Of course, he won’t tell us exactly, but he will probably give some peek into what the strategy is. He’s got a team riding some confidence. Jarrett Guarantano looked really really good against Auburn. … Maybe the messaging to the team as well. We’ll obviously get into the Xs and Os with him and see if he’s noticed any weaknesses or anything he can exploit with Alabama.”

As for the perceived lopsided nature of the game, Rutledge said there’s no denying that.

“Alabama’s the most dominant football team in college football,” Rutledge said Thursday. “There’s really just no question. There’s no team that’s close. One thing, with Tennessee coming off a big win against Auburn, they are going to be fired up. That place gets absolutely wild when the fans are in it.”

She believes Tua Tagovailoa, who sat out part of the last game against Missouri after an awkward slide, will start and play against Tennessee.

“But, you know you have a really good weapon in Jalen Hurts. … I think we’re seeing (Hurts) improve and it is getting lost in the shuffle because Tua’s so good. … Tennessee doesn’t have the manpower to hang with Alabama for a whole game.”
