Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt appears to be pulling at least one Alabama staffer away from Tuscaloosa to join him in Knoxville.

Brian Niedermeyer is reportedly joining Pruitt’s new staff at Tennessee.

It is unclear at this point what role Niedermeyer will serve at UT, but TideSports.com’s Aaron Suttles reported on Thursday night that the move is happening.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com also reported on the staff change.

To add confirmation, with a quick glance at Niedermeyer’s Twitter profile, one will notice that his cover photo is now plastered with a Tennessee logo.

Niedermeyer has served as the assistant director of player personnel operations while at Alabama, according to the staff directory on the Crimson Tide’s website.

It would seem Niedermeyer may be helping Pruitt on the recruiting front if he ends up holding a similar role at Tennessee.
