City College of San Francisco WDE Joran Allen committed to Tennessee Wednesday night.

The 6-foot-4, 230 pound pass rusher is rated a 3-star and ranked as the nation’s No. 25 overall JUCO prosect, as well as the nation’s No. 2 WDE, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Allen started his college career at UC-Davis before heading to JUCO. He committed to the Vols over TCU, Michigan State, Arizona State and Colorado, among others, and his commitment adds some nice recruiting momentum for new head coach Jeremy Pruitt. Tennessee was able to get Allen on campus last weekend, and the visit made a lasting impression upon him.

He recorded 4.5 sacks and 27 tackles during the 2017 season, and he plans on being an early enrollee.
