Report: Former Tennessee QB Tee Martin turned down head coaching job at FCS school
Former Tennessee QB Tee Martin had been with USC since 2012, serving as offensive coordinator since 2016.
However, after a disappointing season in Los Angeles, Martin was among the many assistants fired by head coach Clay Helton.
As he looks for a new job, Martin was reportedly offered the chance to be the head coach at FCS school Austin Peay. But, according to Yahoo!’s Pete Thamel, Martin declined the job:

That’s an interesting decision, but Thamel says Martin wants to stay as an assistant at a Power 5 school. His alma mater, Tennessee, has an opening at offensive coordinator, but Martin doesn’t seem to be in the mix for that job at the moment.
Where he ends up still remains to be seen, but his search for a new gig will be an interesting one to watch.
