Tennessee fans got some good news to start their Wednesday morning as Alabama linebacker Matthew Flint announced his commitment to the team’s latest recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 213-pound Flint rates as a three-star prospect, the No. 51 outside linebacker in the nation and the No. 29 overall prospect from the state of Alabama for the 2018 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He commits to Tennessee over scholarship offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Louisville among others.

Flint made the announcement official by posting the following message on Twitter:

Tennessee now has 19 total commitments lined up for the 2018 recruiting cycle. The class rates as the SEC’s No. 1 recruiting class and the No. 6 in the nation early in August.
