Tennessee DL Matthew Butler calls out Vanderbilt as Vols practice in Commodores' stadium
The Tennessee Volunteers are preparing for the Music City Bowl against Purdue in Nashville.
As they do that, they’re practicing at a familiar place — the Vanderbilt Commodores’ home stadium.
Let’s just say Tennessee DL Matthew Butler is making the most of that fact. He trolled the Vols’ rivals during his media availability on Tuesday:

“It’s so funny because we’re practicing on Vanderbilt’s stadium,” Butler said. “It’s just hilarious to me. There’s nothing they can do about it. Kinda just rub it in a little bit. I thoroughly enjoy walking on this field and stomping on the field a little bit.”
We’ll see if the Vols can pick up a win in Vanderbilt’s hometown on Thursday afternoon. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
