Rome, Ga. DT Jamarcus Chatman decommited from LSU a week ago. It did not take him long to find a new home in the SEC.

The 3-star prospect announced his commitment to the Volunteers on Sunday via Twitter.

Chatman has an impressive 60 scholarship offers, including Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Carolina. He is the second Peach State prospect to commit the Volunteers on Sunday, joining Buford, Ga. RB Anthony Grant in UT’s 2018 class.

Chatman, who measures 6-foot-2, 267 pounds, is rated the No. 30 defensive tackle and No. 41 Georgia recruit in the class of 2018. His highlights can be viewed below:
