Tennessee LB Darrin Kirkland Jr. is returning this weekend
The much-maligned Tennessee defense will get a big boost on Saturday against South Carolina.
MLB Darrin Kirkland Jr., who tried to return against Alabama before re-aggravating his injury in pregame warmups, is on track to return Saturday.

Head coach Butch Jones then confirmed that Kirkland will play on Saturday:

The talented sophomore has been a key member of Tennessee’s defense when he’s been healthy. He has 16 tackles and a sack in two games in 2016.
