The Tennessee Volunteers have two guys who will likely be in the NBA next year — senior G/F Admiral Schofield and F Grant Williams.

However, as the year has gone on, junior PG Jordan Bone has started seeing his name brought up more and more in NBA circles.

On Saturday, as Tennessee awaited Sunday’s second-round NCAA Tournament game against Iowa, Bone spoke about those NBA rumors and how he’s handling the attention (via 247Sports):

“A couple months back I had just started to receive some national attention, had started to receive some NBA attention,” Bone said on Saturday. “I had to talk to coach (Rick Barnes), some of my assistant coaches, even some of the players. How do I deal with this? I’ve never had this attention, man.

“I’ve never been a guy that has been looked at as an NBA prospect. They’ve helped me with that, they’ve helped me handle it.”

It’s no surprise Bone is getting more attention. He’s averaging 13.5 points and 5.9 assists per game for a team that has a dynamic offense.

Will he leave school a year early to head to the league? That’s a question he’ll answer after the Vols’ tourney run comes to an end, whenever that is.
