Tennessee defensive tackle Danny O’Brien has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, Vols coach Butch Jones revealed Wednesday:

Heralded freshmen Kahlil McKenzie and Shy Tuttle will get reps in Saturday’s game vs. Oklahoma in O’Brien’s absence according to Jones.

There’s no doubt O’Brien’s loss will affect Tennessee’s pass rush against the Sooners’ wide-open Air Raid attack.

O’Brien contributed two tackles and a sack during last weekend’s 59-30 win over Bowling Green.
