Looks like the bad mojo around the Tennessee football program isn’t completely gone from Knoxville just yet, if you believe in that type of thing, as senior defensive back Todd Kelly Jr. reportedly had to go to the Tennessee Medical Center Thursday night.

Kelly missed the vast majority of last season after sustaining a season-ending knee injury against Indiana State on Sept. 9. He had knee surgery in early October to repair the knee. He was a senior last season but is expected to play in 2018 with a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA.

Trey Wallace of The Read Optional broke the news on Twitter Friday morning. Wallace cites a fall for the hospital visit.
