Tennessee may only hold five commitments in the 2020 recruiting cycle heading into the 2019 Orange & White Game but that could soon be changing based on the fact Jeremy Pruitt’s program is poised for a huge recruiting weekend in the coming days.

While Tennessee’s current class may be small, it contains plenty of quality led by four-star quarterback Harrison Bailey. The Georgia native is ranked as a top 100 prospect in the nation and is joined by fellow four-star defensive line prospects Jordan Davis, the nation’s No. 1 junior college prospect, and Dominic Bailey of Baltimore. Running back Ebony Jackson is one of the fastest track stars from the state of Georgia and Volunteer State native Will Albright is ranked as the No. 1 long snapper prospect in the nation.

That’s Tennessee’s 2020 class heading into the weekend but don’t be shocked if another name or two is added this weekend as Knoxville native and top Tennessee target Cooper Mays has announced on Twitter he is taking his official visit this weekend to Tennessee. Mays rated as the No. 5 center prospect in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Mays isn’t the only recruit taking an official visit to Rocky Top this weekend as three-star defensive lineman Deontae Craig has also announced he will take an official to Tennessee. The Vols aren’t the only program after the Indiana native as he is currently being recruited by Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame.

Four-star receiver E.J. Williams, rated as a top 100 prospect and the No. 2 recruit from Alabama by 247Sports Composite Rankings, will also be taking an official visit to Tennessee this weekend. Kentucky commit and Florida native Richie Leonard has also announced he will be visiting for the Orange & White Game.

The highest-rated prospect set to be on Tennessee’s campus this weekend is five-star lineman Justin Rogers. His official visit to Tennessee was first reported by Jesse Simonton of Volquest. The state’s top defensive back prospect, Keshawn Lawrence, is also expected to be in town, according to Vol Recruiting Reports. Lawrence recently visited Rocky Top for the first time since Derrick Ansley was hired. The Nashville native is rated as a top 100 prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

In addition to all those uncommitted prospects, Tennessee commits Harrison Bailey (who is bringing his uncommitted Marietta teammate receiver Kobe Stewart with him on the visit), Will Albright and Dominic Bailey are set to return to Rocky Top to help Pruitt’s program recruit.

With all that star power on campus, don’t be surprised if at least one player jumps in the boat to help Tennessee’s recruiting class jump up a few spots in the recruiting rankings by the time the weekend is done.
