WATCH: John Kelly scores first NFL TD in adventurous fashion
Former Tennessee RB John Kelly had a huge performance in his NFL debut last week, out-gaining all the other Los Angeles Rams by himself in a 33-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
However, he didn’t find the end zone last week, so he had to wait for his first NFL touchdown. That came in the second quarter on Saturday afternoon against the Oakland Raiders.
As you can see in the video below, though, it came in adventurous fashion, as Kelly fumbled the ball before crossing the goal line, but managed to recover his own fumble to complete the touchdown:

The play was a fourth-down play, too, making it even more exciting for Kelly and the Rams.
Kelly is battling with former Texas RB Malcolm Brown for the backup job behind Todd Gurley, and it appears as if Kelly is making a good case for himself.
