Friday’s preseason opener has been a mixed bag for former Tennessee QB Josh Dobbs.

After starting the game in place of entrenched Pittsburgh Steelers starter Ben Roethlisberger, Dobbs had a nice early completion before tossing a pair of interceptions.

However, just before halftime, Dobbs connected with former Arkansas WR Cobi Hamilton on a beautiful 28-yard touchdown pass, as you can see below:

The Steelers led the Giants 10-9 at halftime, but trail 12-10 early in the third quarter after a field goal by New York.

Hamilton has two catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. Dobbs has completed six of his 11 pass attempts for 93 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
