After a long and winding search, the Tennessee Volunteers finally hired a new football coach in Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt.

On Saturday, Pruitt was in Knoxville for the men’s basketball game between the Vols and Lipscomb.

New Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer, who coached the Vols to the 1998 national title, was also on hand to introduce the new football coach to the excited fan base:

Fans were excited to see the new football coach, with one person going the extra mile, bringing a giant likeness of the new coach’s face:

Pruitt had a strong message to give the Tennessee fan base, saying he wants to win every game as the Vols’ head coach, as you can see in the video below:

That’s a tough task, and one that he won’t be able to accomplish. However, Pruitt can help quickly turn around the Tennessee squad, and if he does, he’ll continue getting cheers like the ones he got on Saturday.
