It’s not uncommon to see high school prospects receive an extra bounce in their step after committing to their school of choice. Tennessee fans can look back on Kyle Phillip’s commitment during the 2015 U.S. Army All-American and his performance immediately in the all-star game as an example.

Now it appears Ramel Keyton is experiencing much the same while competing for his Marieta High School team. The four-star receiver, ranked as the No. 188 overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings for the 2019 recruiting cycle, pledged his commitment to Tennessee on Wednesday.

Coming off his public commitment to Tennessee, Keyton went off during Marieta’s recent spring game. The newest member of Jeremy Pruitt’s Volunteer program caught four touchdowns in the first half alone in the contest. Also of some interest to UT fans, the quarterback making each of those throws is 2020 prospect, Harrison Bailey. He also has a scholarship offer from the Vols.
