What Mike Anderson said about No. 3 Tennessee after Vols dominated Arkansas
The Tennessee Volunteers hosted Arkansas on Tuesday night and looked like the No. 1 team in the country, rolling to an easy 106-87 victory over the Razorbacks.
However, the Vols are currently only the No. 3 squad in the AP Poll — though that could change after No. 1 Duke’s loss on Monday.
After the blowout loss, Arkansas coach Mike Anderson had nothing but praise for the Vols, saying they looked like an elite squad. Here’s what he said after Tuesday night’s lopsided loss:
On where he’d vote the Vols in the AP Poll:
Mike Anderson on UT: 'if I was voting they'd be no. 1 team in the country.'

On how well the bench is playing:
Anderson said UT is 'hungry, humble and they play for each other. Their bench is playing well, that's a big key.'

On the difference in talent on Tuesday night:
Arkansas coach Mike Anderson on the difference between his team and Tennessee: I’ve got pieces, but they’ve got a lot of pieces, and their pieces are playing well together.

Arkansas will be happy that Tennessee is not on their schedule again this season. That’ll help as the Hogs try to regroup and make an NCAA Tournament run.
