Emanuel Hall returned last week after missing four games and made his first catch since Sept. 15 against Purdue.

Missouri’s top wide receiver made four catches for 77 yards and a touchdown last week in the win at Florida. Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason took notice, and on the SEC coaches media teleconference, he  described Hall as one of the most explosive players in the conference.

“Getting Emanuel back was big for Drew Lock,” Mason said. “With their running backs and tight end, and now having the best weapon on the outside, it’s what they needed. It’s going to be a fun ball game, Hall is a fun guy to watch, we know what he is capable of.”

In the five games Hall has played this season, he has four TD catches.

Mason added that Missouri’s offensive line played much differently against Florida than it did against Kentucky, which was, “tough sledding.”

“Against Florida, different story,” Mason said. “On defense, we aren’t as deep as we’d like to be but we are playing better. We will be ready.

RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn is cleared and back to 100 percent following the bye week and sitting out the Kentucky game because of concussion protocol. Mason said he could have played in Vanderbilt’s last game, but his conditioning wasn’t there.

“We are full tilt at the running back position,” Mason said.
