Clark Lea has made another addition to his Vanderbilt staff. Jeff LePak, a former offensive analyst at Syracuse, has updated his Twitter profile to show he is now part of the Vanderbilt football program.

Stephen Bailey of 247Sports shared on Twitter that per Lea, LePak will serve in a special teams quality control position. The move has Lepak working under another ex-Syracuse assistant, Justin Lustig.

LePak had been on Dino Barbers’ Syracuse staff from 2016-18 before leaving to be the inside receivers coach at McNeese State in 2019. He returned to Syracuse in February 2020.

Per his Syracuse bio, LePak held multiple positions during his first stint with the Orange. He was hired as Syracuse’s operations and recruiting assistant in February 2016. Later that year, LePak became the program’s special teams quality control coach, a position he held through the end of the 2018 season. The Orange fielded some of college football’s best coverage units and led the ACC in net punting in each of LePak’s two full seasons working with Syracuse’s special teams.

LePak played tight end at Eastern Illinois.
