Vanderbilt lands commitment from 2018 WR C.J. Bolar out of Mississippi
The Vanderbilt Commodores dipped into Mississippi to pick up a commit from a talented 2018 wide receiver.
The Commodores landed a pledge from Purvis native C.J. Bolar, who stands 6-2 and weighs 185 pounds.
The Mississippi receiver announced his decision to join the Commodores on Twitter on Sunday afternoon, as you can see below:

According to reporter Jesse Johnson, Bolar had quite the high school career, recording 23 touchdowns and putting up more than 2,000 receiving yards:
CJ Bolar caught 116 passes for 2,187 yards & 23 TDs in his HS career. All-State performer also had 3,354 all-purpose yards & 30 total TDs.

According to the 247Sports composite, Bolar is the No. 108 wide receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
The Commodores now have 16 players in their 2018 class, which currently ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 32 nationally, per 247Sports.
