Louis Vecchio must have spent the last week working on tip drills.

If not, then the interception he somehow wrangled in the closing minutes against Arkansas is even more impressive. Vanderbilt’s 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive end stretched himself out and bobbled the ball several times before finally catching it off his facemask mere inches from the field.

You can view a replay of Vecchio’s awesome interception below, and it’s even more breathtaking in slow-motion.

Vecchio’s huge play came after the Commodores scored to go ahead 38-24 with about five minutes left. Vanderbilt scored seven plays later and ultimately won 45-31 to grab its first SEC victory of the year.

You can bet Vecchio’s looking forward to watching film of this game after making a play like that.
