Joe Burrow reveals Ja’Marr Chase’s return date: ‘He’s exactly the teammate you would expect’

Joe Burrow will get his favorite target back this week when the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Tennessee Titans.
Burrow told reporters on Wednesday that he expects Chase back on Sunday after he’s been out since Week 7 with a hip injury. He’s missed 3 games, and moved around on crutches during his absence.
“He’s been working hard. Hopefully we can get him back to practice and feeling good (for Sunday),” Burrow said, per Mike Petraglia. “He’s been in some of the meetings. He’s stayed engaged. He’s exactly the teammate you would expect.”
Asked about his own game, and whether he learned anything, since Chase’s absence, Burrow said, “I am who I thought I was.”
Chase this season has 47 catches for 605 yards and 6 touchdowns in 7 games. Chase, before his injury, had a pair of incredible games. He caught 7 passes for 132 yards with 2 TDs against New Orleans and 8 passes for 130 yards with 2 TDs against Atlanta.
