About Vanderbilt Football

Vanderbilt was a founding member of the SEC in 1933, but has never won the conference title. Vanderbilt has also never won the national championship, though it does have 6 unclaimed titles that all occurred before 1922.

The Commodores put together some great seasons every now and then. They’ve had strong showings under coaches like James Franklin, Derek Mason and Clark Lea in the 2000s.

Vanderbilt has produced 7 consensus All-Americans over the years. With a stadium renovation, can the Commodores start to compete more consistently in the SEC?
