Georgia-based shooting guard lists 4 SEC programs among top 6

Class of 2027 shooting guard Justin Wise announced on Saturday that he’s cut his offer list to 6 programs, including 4 out of the SEC. The 4-star prospect will choose between Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Miami and Clemson.
Wise is one of the better shooting guards in the Class of 2027 rankings. He’s a top-60 prospect according to 247Sports and Rivals, as well as a consensus 4-star prospect.

Wise stands at 6-foot-4 and hails from North Oconee high school in Bogart, Georgia, which is located just outside of Athens. For this reason, Wise has already taken an official visit to Georgia in February of 2026. In addition, Wise took an unofficial visit to Austin on June 22, and another trip to Austin is scheduled for September 5, when Texas football is set to face Texas State to kick off its 2026 season.
According to 247Sports, Wise is considered to be the No. 54 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 4 shooting guard and No. 7 player out of the state of Georgia.
None of the SEC teams listed have so far received a commitment from a Class of 2027 prospect.
