Alabama football released its depth chart for Week 1’s matchup against Middle Tennessee. In true Alabama fashion, the depth chart was released about 2 hours before kickoff and included a lot of ORs.
Highlighting the ORs is the QB position, which has plenty of ORs led by Jalen Milroe. Milroe was reportedly named the starter this past week. ESPN’s Chris Low reported Saturday that Tyler Buchner will get the nod as Milroe’s backup.
We’ll get our first look in about an hour. Here’s the first look at Alabama’s unofficial depth chart.

The only other OR of note comes at wide receiver, where it looks like Ja’Corey Brooks and Malik Benson are tossups for Alabama’s X receiver. Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond will start in the other 2 receiver positions.
Alabama kicks off its 2023 season at 7:30. The game will be aired on SEC Network.
