Auburn lands commitment from 4-star 2018 LB Zakoby McClain out of Georgia

It’s been a great week for the Auburn Tigers, as they advanced to the SEC Championship Game after a convincing win over Alabama in Saturday’s Iron Bowl.
On Tuesday, they landed the No. 2 spot in the updated College Football Playoff rankings, sandwiched between No. 1 Clemson and No. 3 Oklahoma
Also on Tuesday, the Tigers got a big-time commitment from 4-star 2018 OLB Zakoby McClain out of Valdosta, Georgia. The highly rated defender announced his decision on Twitter on Tuesday evening:

According to the 247Sports composite, McClain is the No. 16 outside linebacker in the class of 2018 and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
With McClain on board, the Tigers’ 2018 class now has 18 members (10 of which are 4-star players). According to 247Sports, the class ranks No. 11 nationally and No. 3 in the SEC.
