Ed Orgeron gives latest update on RB Derrius Guice ahead of Saturday

LSU running back Derrius Guice’s health has been an issue all season as he’s missed time, or been questionable to play in nearly every game.
That is still the case ahead of Saturday’s game with Troy as coach Ed Orgeron said Guice, his leading running back, is a “game-time” decision to play. If Guice is limited or doesn’t play, LSU will turn to other options at running back, including Darrel Williams and Nick Brossette.
“If (Guice) can’t, we feel good with Darrel Williams, we feel good with Nick Brossette, we feel good with Clyde (Edwards-Helaire), Lanard Fournette is healthy again,” Orgeron said in an interview posted on the LSU Football Twitter account. “So we have a stable of backs who can run, and we feel good about them.”
Orgeron added that playing Syracuse last week helped the Tigers prepare to play another up-tempo, spread offense team in Troy this week at Tiger Stadium.
