Former South Carolina wide receiver and kick returner Pharoh Cooper is looking for a new team after the Arizona Cardinals reportedly let him go on Friday.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news, as the one-time special teams ace couldn’t duplicate his All-Pro production with the Los Angeles Rams in Arizona.

Cooper made a name for himself two years ago when he averaged 27 yards per kickoff return, had three returns that went more than 40 yards, and added a TD. He played in just five games with the Rams in 2018.

Cooper shined with the Gamecocks in 2015 as he earned first-team All-SEC honors by the league’s coaches as both a wide receiver and as an all-purpose back, and was an AP first-team All-SEC wide receiver and a second-team all-purpose back.

He was the team’s leading receiver that season with 66 receptions for 973 yards as his 66 receptions were more than the rest of the team’s wide receivers combined total of 56.
