LOOK: Danny Kanell calls out Florida State fans on Twitter after loss to Boise State

The Florida State Seminoles looked like they were turning a corner under coach Willie Taggart on Saturday, taking a 31-13 lead in the first half against a tough Boise State team.
However, the second half was a different story, as the Seminoles were held scoreless and the Broncos came all the way back to win 36-31 in Tallahassee.
Naturally, that prompted plenty of outrage from FSU fans on Twitter, many of whom called for Taggart to be fired. That didn’t sit well with former FSU QB Danny Kanell, who called out fans for their lack of support of the program:
It’s pretty ridiculous that Willie Taggart has to ask fans to support him and this team. If you want to give up on them after a loss to a damn good team then go root for another team It sucks and it hurts but just leave now and don’t come back when the Noles start winning again

Kanell also responded to a few fans who had things to say about his tweet:
That’s the spirit. Why don’t you go root for the Canes or Gators because that’s the type of fan you sound like.
How do you know what tomorrow holds? Who are you hiring today that is the supposed savior?— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) September 1, 2019
Okay #1 Noles fan.

Florida State takes on Louisiana-Monroe next weekend, so we’ll see if the Noles can pick up their first win of the 2019 season then.
