WATCH: Drew Lock jokes about water bottle thrown by South Carolina fan in 2016

Back in 2016, Mizzou QB Drew Lock had a water bottle thrown at him by a South Carolina fan after the Tigers scored on the Gamecocks.
In the heat of the moment, Lock decided to pick it up and drink from it as he jogged off the field — hilarious, but probably not the safest decision.
As you can see in the video below, Lock was asked about that moment ahead of the Tigers’ Week 6 matchup in South Carolina. He said he wouldn’t drink from anymore bottles, but did invite fans to pelt him once again:

“I probably won’t drink it this week,” he smiled. “But I’m all for all the water bottles being thrown this week. I’ll just start a collection behind the bench and, by the end of the game, we’ll see how many water bottles we have.”
Saturday’s game starts at noon Eastern time at Williams-Brice Stadium. Tune in to the SEC Network at that time to see how many bottles come Lock’s way.
