WATCH: The emotional moment Deebo Samuel found out he was going to be a San Francisco 49er

South Carolina WR Deebo Samuel didn’t hear his name called during the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, but it didn’t take him long to come off the board in Round 2 on Friday night.
The San Francisco 49ers scooped him up with the No. 36 overall pick (No. 4 in the second round) and now he’ll be heading across the country to start his pro career.
As you can see below, hearing his name called was a very emotional moment for Samuel and his family:
