Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins has been one of the breakout stars in the SEC this season.

The 5-11, 220-pound freshman piled up a career-high 205 yards in a 31-28 win at Texas A&M on Saturday night and now has 1,036 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season through 9 games.

Judkins is also averaging nearly 6 yards per carry.

His play has been so impressive that the Ole Miss Football Twitter account released a tweet Sunday night suggesting that Judkins should be under consideration for the Heisman Trophy.

There’s certainly no question that Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin has been thrilled with the play of his young tailback.

It doesn’t appear, however that Kiffin was thrilled with the Heisman Tweet, as he responded with his own tweet claiming through the use of emojis that, “We are rat-poisoning ourselves.”

It’s not the 1st time that Kiffin has utilized the term “rat poison” and it probably won’t be the last, as he’s intent on keeping his team’s eyes on the prize.

The 8-1 Rebels have a bye this coming Saturday but will return to action on Nov. 12 with a huge home game against Alabama.
