The Coaches Poll came out this week, ranking 6 SEC teams in the top 25 to get the 2022 campaign started.

Alabama checked in at No. 1, with Georgia (No. 3), Texas A&M (No. 7), Kentucky (No. 21), Arkansas (No. 23) and Ole Miss (No. 24) also cracked the top 25.

Will the league have more or less teams ranked when the final poll comes out? ESPN analysts Joey Galloway and Stanford Steve weighed in on “College Football Live” this week:

“I think that’s about the right number for the SEC, the strongest conference in the country,” Galloway said. “So 6 feels right to me and I think they’ll maintain that. Might be some different teams, but they’ll get 6 in the end.”

Stanford Steve went with the under, saying the SEC will have about 5 teams in the final poll.
