The conference championship games are over, and we have what should be some clarity on the committee’s final rankings that will be announced on Sunday.
Here’s how we project the top 10 of the final edition of the College Football Playoff rankings.
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Ohio State
- Washington
- Penn State
- Michigan
- Oklahoma
- Wisconsin
- USC
- Colorado
The controversy of course will be that Ohio State is getting in over Penn State. Penn State beat Ohio State and won the Big Ten Championship. However, with Ohio State having the No. 2 slot in the previous rankings, it appears that the Buckeyes are getting in. If that were to change, the committee would be showing that the conference championships weigh more than we thought.
The Selection Committee unveils the final 2016 rankings on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
