You're right, but these are only games played in 2003 and after. That was a great one though.
Yeah, unfortunately, I caught the sarcasm in it "after" I posted my comment. So I will say I'm sorry for that flub to virtualkelly. Had just gotten off work and read the tweets in the original story, and in my defense, quite a few Missouri fans have argued the point I thought he was trying to make. And thanks to Eelay13 for the defense of me to the "Grammar Expert." Sometimes typing on a phone will cause a couple un-meant words to pop up....
Virtualkelly, who else from the East should be ranked? I'm assuming you mean Missouri. They're the only ones with a legitimate claim, but losing to Indiana and getting blown out by Georgia aren't going to get them any love. Why is it so hard to fathom, the West is on top right now. You got two unbeatens, and two teams that have played in the last 5 National championship games who only have one lose apiece. And those loses are to the number 1 and 3 teams.
I must correct myself on one point. You didn't lose to South Carolina. My mistake.
Not saying Georgia can't go 2-0 against the West this year, but you saying the teams outside of Mississippi all have flaws like Georgia doesn't. Every team has flaws. Not one person can say Ole Miss will beat Auburn without a doubt. Just like no one can say Miss State will beat Alabama without a doubt. Again, don't get me wrong about the Bulldogs, they're good enough to win out. Should win the East. But they better not look past Arkansas, and with revenge on their mind or not, I don't believe even you think playing Auburn is going to be a gimme win.
What part was I not reading correctly? You stated, Missouri was undefeated against the West last year. I just reminded you the SEC Championship game counts, so that means you were wrong. Y'all lost to Auburn, a Western Division team. LSU and Florida you mentioned, as well. Close...Okay. LSU ended up, what, 4th or 5th in the West? Stay in the SEC long enough, you'll learn style points don't matter. Surviving matters. Again, you mention 4 of 14 games is all that's been played. We remind you Texas A&M, about the 5th place team in the West, destroyed South Carolina who beat you, two teams picked to possibly win the East. No matter how you spin it, the West is dominate over the East right now, as it has been for past few years. That'll change soon, always does. And some East teams may win some against the West this year too. But overall, the West is the best division in the conference right now. Is all that in context?
Uh, first, it's not 2013 anymore. Second, talking about Missouri being undefeated that year against the SEC "Werst", as you call them. Did you forget about that game in Atlanta against Auburn? Just cause y'all's defense forgot to show up doesn't mean it doesn't still count! ....Lol....
Hate to but I agree with you. I live Auburn and a lot of times willingly look past some flaws. But even though they have clamped down some starting in the 2nd half of the Arkansas game, pass defense and pass rush have to step up. Yeah, they've kept the teams out of the end zone, but eventually that will catch up with them. Right now, like most here are saying, it's too early to know who is the best. After the 2nd game last year, even as a fan, I didn't have Auburn playing for a national championship.
Yeah, and bammers send death threats to their kickers. I know of at least 3 times for that. After 2013 Iron Bowl, 2011 LSU game, and 2000 Orange Bowl.
