Following a major upset win over Auburn, Texas A&M (7-3, 3-3) has entered the College Football Playoff committee’s rankings for the first time. The Aggies entered the rankings at No. 23 after going on the road upending then-No. 3 Auburn, 41-38.

Texas A&M is still unranked in both the coaches and AP polls, although they are receiving votes in both. Auburn slipped to No. 9 in the CFP rankings following the loss, matching their ranking in both the coaches and AP polls.

The Aggies have a chance for another impressive win on Saturday. The Missouri Tigers (7-2, 4-1), currently leading the SEC East, visit Kyle Field for a showdown between the SEC’s two most recent additions. Missouri is not currently ranked in any polls.
